No chemicals or solutions are used to filter the water and the process actually reduces the chlorine taste and odour that can sometimes emanate from tap water, it eliminates lead and all the other nasties found in everyday tap water. There is no fuss with the easy manageability of changing the cartridge just once every 6 months.
The Triflow system is tested and approved by the Water Quality Association according to NSF/ANSI standards 42 and 53 with performance claims as verified and substantiated by the test data.
